LAB INTENSIVE CONTENT OVERVIEW
This in-person 12-hr (1.5 day) lab intensive is designed for those who have completed 1 of the following pre-requisite courses as noted above.

And before you read through the skills, just a quick note -> these skills may seem like part of your everyday practice, but this is an opportunity to take your everyday practice to the next level. We teach you how to do what you normally do in 60 minutes in half the time with expert precision... preventing the chaotic exhaustion that is often felt when your brain cannot appropriately prioritize or handle uncertainty. So here's what you'll be expected to do in this lab:
- reviewing and analyzing patient intake forms to identify risk factors and draft hypotheses
- triaging groups of patients in a walk-in environment
- selecting and accurately performing the most appropriate physical exam tests based on patient responses including cardiovascular and pulmonary assessment (ankle brachial index, cervical arterial tests, etc.), abdominal exam, neurologic exam, craniocervical exam
- determining and executing the most appropriate initial management plan including determination of urgency and consequence of delay, making any required referrals, communicating the plan to the patient and other healthcare professionals, and establishing appropriate follow-up.
In order to complete the course and earn a CEU certificate, participants must:
